Yes, because your account has not been actively repaid it has moved into a six-month accelerated prelegal collections track. The prelegal collections track is our last stop in collection efforts before the account is considered for referral to an attorney.

What Happens if I Don't Pay My Prelegal Account?

If you do not establish a plan with Resurgent to resolve your account, it may be forwarded to an attorney to review for a possible lawsuit at the end of the 6-month prelegal track.
